We are an Irish based podcast promoting camping. We give camping tips, review camping products, campsites in Ireland (and hopefully further afield) and generally chat about Motorhome, Campervan, Caravan and Tent camping to positively promote camping. Chris has been camping in a Hymer Camp Motorhome with his family since 2006. Previous to that in his ‘younger’ days he was an avid tent and bivouac wild camper.
In the daytime Chris works in IT but once the weekend comes he is loaded up and on the road for another weekend camping.
The idea for the podcast came from the outdoor fireside chats about campsites, camping gadgets, camping problems etc. with the greater Camping Crew. Chris hoped to recreate some of these chats on the podcast and maybe help his fellow campers along the way.
Aaron a retired morning time radio presenter of 18years now a photographer and YouTuber has been camping for the last 26years and is on his 11th motorhome starting off with a Renault van and now as a Hymer 655.
Back in 1995 Aaron set up campsitereview.com after staying on a campsite in Ireland that was 3 star rated but didn’t deserve it.
In 2019 Aaron set up the YouTube channel “Charlie And Me Our Camping Vlog” where Aaron & his chocolate brown cocker spaniel Charlie (and his wife Deidre sometimes) go around Ireland video reviewing campsites giving his feedback and HIS opinion on places to stay & things to do in the areas.
